Event: 2025 ODAC Cross Country Championships – 6K
Location: Harrisonburg, Va. (hosted by Bridgewater College)

The Lead: The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) held their 2025 Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning. Hollins would join 11 other conference schools sending runners over the 6K course in Harrisonburg. The Green and Gold would finish 7^th in the Championship meet, their highest finish since the sport returned to Hollins in 2010.

Highlights & Notes  

• First-year Elizabeth Lowry finished the course in a time of 26:20.3, the 58^th best time in the 89-runner field.
• Madison Freideman was three spots behind her teammate at 26:30.1 while senior Sylvia Guillet posted a time of 27:26.0.
• Natalie Sullivan (30.22.0) put HU in a position for their highest finish to date and when Chloe Beamer crossed the line ahead of a runner from Sweet Briar, Hollins had claimed 7^th place.

Up Next: Hollins travels to Salem to compete at the 2025 NCAA South Regional on Saturday, November 15^th. The meet will be contested over the course at Green Hill Park and hosted by Roanoke College.
