The Lead: The Hollins soccer team traveled north on interstate 81 to open the 2024 season against Christendom. The Crusaders had their first match postponed, so it would prove to be the season opener for both teams. Hollins would control the matchup throughout on their way to a 3-0 shutout to kick off the new season.

Highlights 

• Hollins would waste little time in taking control of the match. Just before the 3:00 mark, the Green and Gold would strike with the first collegiate goal for Adelie Condra.
• Over the remainder of the opening half would see Hollins add to her lead. Back-to-back scores by Evelyn Keefer would give the visitors a 3-0 advantage at the break.
• Neither team would score over the second half as Hollins picked up the win with T Shover going the distance in net and recording the shutout.
