Hollins University

Mallory Francis of the riding team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Last weekend, Hollins competed at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone 4 Finals. The Green and Gold won the event, qualifying for Nationals in May. Francis finished first in Open Fences and 1st in the Cacchione Cup, qualifying for the National Show (May 3-5) in Mill Spring, N.C. This came one week after Francis was named Reserve Champion at the Southwest Virginia Hunter Jumper Association (SWVHJA) spring event.
