Liah-Rae Tucker of the soccer team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Hollins went 0-1-1 last week and the sophomore defender played all 180 minutes during the two matches. The native of the Bahamas has played multiple positions within the defensive unit so far this year and HU has improved in every defensive category from last season. The Green and Gold are giving up 4.09 goals per game down from 6.40 in 2024. Hollins gave up 30.3 shots and 16.1 shots on goal per game last year, this season the defense has lowered that to 20.7 shots and 11.5 shots on goal per contest.
