Madison Freideman of the Hollins track & field team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. The track team went to Lexington (Va.) over the weekend to compete at the 2025 VMI Invitational. Freideman competed in four different events. In the 200m, the first year posted a final time of 29.19. In her three field events, Madison went for 1.40m in the High Jump and 9.72m in the Triple Jump. Her height of 4.78m in the Long Jump tied for 4th all time in the Hollins record book.
