Ariana Gutierrez of the basketball team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week, Hollins played a pair of basketball games over the past week going 1-1, and with the win, picked up her 11th win of the 2024-25 season. After hitting just one three pointer in a loss to Guilford, Gutierrez went 7-11 from long range to score a game high 23 points, just one point off the junior's career high. Her seven made 3-pointers were the most in a single game by any player in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) this season.
