Ayeshia Watson of the track & field team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Last Friday, Hollins traveled to Lynchburg to compete at the 2024 Burg Open. Watson finished top-20 when she crossed the line in the 60m Dash in a time of 8.42. In the Triple Jump, the first-year posted a distance of 10.54m (34'7") to finish 4th and best every other ODAC competitor in the field. Currently Watson has the 4th best Triple Jump in the conference, just 3/4 of an inch out of the top 3.
