Ariana Gutierrez of the basketball team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. In a pair of Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) games this past week, Gutierrez scored in double figures in both contests. In a game at Averett, the first-year forward posted a season high 22 points to go with seven rebounds. For the week, Gutierrez averaged 16.5 points per game while pulling down seven rebounds per outing. After hitting eight three-pointers in the two games, Ariana is currently 5th in the ODAC with 24 made three-pointers for the season.
