Mallory Francis of the riding team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Prior to Thanksgiving, Hollins riders traveled to the Virginia Horse Center (Lexington) to compete at the Southwest Virginia Hunter Jumper Association (SWVHJA) Annual Show. Francis was the winner of the Handy Hunter division while recording four, top five finishes in Adult Equitation Flat and Adult Amateur Hunters. The junior also became the latest in a long line of Hollins riders to win the SWVHJA Adult Medal Finals.
