Madison Freideman of the cross country team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. On Saturday, Madison and the Hollins xc team traveled to Winchester to compete at teh Hornet Harrier and Commonwealth Challenge, hosted by Shenandoah. Freideman posted a final time of 27:41.9 over the 6K course. The sophomore, competing in her first year of collegiate cross country, finished 8th out of a field of over 40 runners and helped Hollins to a 3rd place finish. Madison's final time was the 13th best at the 6K distance in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) this season.
