The Lead: The Hollins track & field team duplicated their record setting effort at the 2026 ODAC Indoor Track & Field Championships when the Green and Gold claimed the most points in school history with another 7
th place finish. The 29 points were four points ahead of last season's record setting effort as the outdoor track & filed team claimed more points this meet than their first four seasons combined (13). Another All-ODAC performance as well as several program records and personal best efforts highlighted the two-day event.
Highlights & Notes
Saturday Events:
- 4x100m Relay: The quartet of Jazmine Patterson, Madison Freideman, Kamani Watkins, and Arianna Gomez set a new Hollins school record with a time of 50.80, finishing 6th.
- 400m: Patterson, the reigning ODAC 400m Champion, finished 5th with a season best time of 57.90.
- 4x400m Relay: Another Hollins program mark was bested as Freideman, Watkins, Patterson, and Evelyn Keefer broke their previous record by over two and a half seconds when they crossed the line 5th at 4:19.46.
- Triple Jump: Gomez earned 3rd team All-ODAC with a personal best of 11.43m, making the sophomore the only multiple time All-ODAC performer in school history. Autumn Dale just missed the top 10, finishing 11th at 10.17m. Watkins posted a mark of 10.06m and Freideman made it four in the top 15 with her 10.03m effort.
- Discus: Sanaa Belton broke her own program mark by .90 with a 9th place throw of 33.96m. Watkins finished just outside the top 20 at 19.94m.
