In early December, Gomez set a season best int he Triple Jump when she jumped 10.71m at the Liberty Kick-Off meet. That jump was just .01 off her collegiate best set at the Finn Pincus Invitational in her first year campaign. At the Championships, The Bahamas native would break and set that mark on five different occasions. With her final jump of 11.19m, Gomez had earned a spot on the All-ODAC team by finishing 3rd at the Championship meet.
