Roanoke, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) released their 2026 Women's Basketball All-ODAC. For the first time since 1988, Hollins would place two players on the All-ODAC teams. Junior guard
Zaria Holden and first-year forward
Jacorra Russell were each named All-ODAC.
This marks the second consecutive season that Hollins was represented on one of the three all-conference teams. After
Cabria Mutz '25 was named 3
rd Team last year, the 25-26 Hollins duo would each earn 3
rd team All-ODAC honors after the program's historic season.
Holden and Russell are a part of a Hollins team that set a program record for regular season wins (16) and tied the mark set by the 2011-12 squad with eight ODAC victories. Their sixth-place regular season finish was the highest in the ODAC era since the league expanded past its original eight women's teams.
Holden was named All-ODAC after a season that would see her lead the team in scoring with 13.4 points per game, ranked 12
th in the conference. In addition to points, the Alabama native ranked 22
nd in rebounding, 15
th in shooting percentage, 22nd in shooting percentage, 7
th in assists, 8
th in assist to turnover ratio.
In addition to being named to the 3
rd team all-conference, Russell was named the
2026 ODAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Year. It was only the second time in ODAC history that a Hollins player earned that honor, Jasmine Green '13 won the award after her first season in 2010. Russell claimed her honors after a season that saw her second on the team in scoring with 12.2 points per contest, 15
th in the ODAC. Conference wide, Jacorra finished 11
th in rebounding, 4
th in shooting percentage, 5
th in blocked shots, and 13
th in steals.
