The Lead:Â After having last weekend's meet postponed due to the weather, the Hollins indoor track & field team was back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Bast Cregger Multi Invitational, hosted by Roanoke College. Hollins once again opened the record books and set program top marks as well as recording another round of personal bests by different student-athletes.

Highlights & Notes  Â
Track Events:
- In the 60m Dash, Lida Krodel put her name in 9th place in the Hollins record book with a time of 9.23. Ja'Nyla Green finished behind her fellow first-year at 10.77. Krodel returned in the 60m Hurdles to finish 10th overall with a time of 11.20.
- Arianna Gomez set a personal best in the 200m (29.04) putting her name 3rd in the program history. Madison Freideman now sits just outside the top 5 with her time of 29.61. In the 300m, Kamani Watkins finished 6th in the event (48:04) giving the first-year the 2nd best time in the Hollins records.
- Jazmine Patterson continued her record setting campaign by putting her name atop the Hollins program record book in the 500m when she won the event with a final time of 1:21.72. In the 400m, the senior was 7th when she crossed the wire in 1:01.05, just .64 of a second off her school record.
- In the mid-distance events, Elizabeth Lowry finished the 800m in 2:55.46 while posting a time of 3:30.58 in the 1000m. Natalie Sullivan finished just behind her teammate in the 800m (3:08.43) and the 1000m (3:51.25).
- Senior Sylvia Guillet posted a time of 15:18.43 in the 3000m.

Field Events:
- Sanaa Belton finished 4th in the Weight Throw at 14.16m and 10th in the Shot Put (10.64m). Green recorded a personal best in the Shot at 8.30m.
- Freideman was 7th in the High Jump when she matched her collegiate best mark of 1.50m. The sophomore then matched the 4.66m of Gomez as the duo finished in a tie for 10th in the Long Jump. Autumn Dale posted a jump of 4.17m in the Long Jump.
- In the Triple Jump, Gomez was 5th at 10.40m while Watkins registered a personal best of 9.90m to finish 7th. Dale rounded out the Hollins trio with a jump of 9.45m
Up Next: Hollins returns to Salem in two weeks to compete at the one-day Joe LaRocco Invite on February 14th.
