Event: Finn Pincus Invite (January 16-17, 2026)
Location:Â Salem, Va. (Roanoke College)
The Lead:Â The Hollins track & field was back in action after the calendar turned to 2026 with a short trip to Salem to compete and the two-day Finn Pincus Invite hosted by Roanoke College. Hollins would see a record setting performance on Friday night and returned Saturday to set another school record to wrap up another successful indoor meet.

Highlights & Notes  Â
Friday Events:
- A pair of Hollins jumpers started the event at the High Jump pit. Autumn Dale and Madison Freideman both competed in the event. Freideman finished third with a jump of 1.45m, just missing her season best effort.
- Lida Krodel posted a time of 11.21 in the 60m Hurdles to earn a spot in the top eight for the Finals on Saturday.
- Jazmine Patterson qualified in the 60m Dash with a time of 8.24. Kamani Watkins finished in 8.79 while Arianna Gomez posted a time of 8.93.
- Patterson returned in the 300m and set a new Hollins record. The senior posted a personal best of 43.10, giving Patterson the 47th best 300m in the NCAA this season.
- The 3000m would see Natalie Sullivan (13:16.58) finish one spot ahead of teammate Elizabeth Lowry at 13:26.36.
Saturday Events:
- In the Long Jump, Freideman returned to finish 7th with a jump of 4.92m. Freideman posted a season best 10.07m to earn an 8th place finish. Watkins went 9.44 and Dale posted a distance of 8.95m.
- Sanaa Belton was 3rd in the Weight Throw with a final distance of 14.53m. Belton then returned in the Shot Put to earn a 5th place finish with an effort of 11.14m Watkins set a season and career best with a throw of 8.85m while Ja'Nyla Green finished at 7.36m.
- Krodel set a new Hollins record of 10.93 while finishing 8th in the 60m Hurdles.
- Another top-10 effort for Patterson (8th) with a time of 26.99 in the 200m. Watkins finished in 29.91 while Krodel set her second personal best of the meet with a time of 30.80.
Up Next: Hollins makes the trip to Bridgewater next Saturday to compete at the Shane Stevens Winter Invite in Harrisonburg.
