The Lead: Day Two of the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Swim Championships would see three individual events and two relays contested. Hollins would send individuals out in the 500 Freestyle, 200 Individual Medley (IM), and 50 Freestyle while fielding teams in the 200 Freestyle and 400 Medley Relays.

Highlights  

• 500 Freestyle: Arwyn Orr Paulk was 28^th in the prelims with a time of 6:35.51, over four seconds better than her seed time. One second later, Amanda Cash touched in 6:36.60 while Macy Gibson posted a final time of 6:46.31.
• 200 IM: Madeleine Freeman was 27^th of 36 swimmers with a time of 2:41.53 and Kyra Campbell completed her race with a final time of 2:50.40.
• 50 Freestyle: 56 swimmers from the 11 schools competed in the shortest and fastest race of the meet. Jada Deane led the Hollins contingent at 28.08. Brenna Rea (29.39) finished just ahead of teammate Mia Bollerer (30.85) while Rachelle Kilgore (34.29) rounded out the times for Hollins.
• In the 200 Freestyle Relay, the Hollins team of Freeman, Rea, Orr Paulk, and Deane earned a top 10 finish in a time of 1:53.56, just one second out of 9^th.
• The 400 Medley Relay would see a 10^th place effort by the Hollins quartet of Deane, Orr Paulk, Gibson, and Kilgore with a finals time of 4:54.87.

 
Up Next: Day Three of the championship meet will get started tomorrow morning with prelims beginning at 10:00am. The Finals of Day Two will start at 6:00pm, as five individual and one relay will be contested.
