Location: Lynchburg, Va. (hosted by Randolph College)
 
The Lead: Less than 24 hours after a win over Sweet Briar, the Hollins swim team took on three different opponents in a quad-meet hosted by Randolph College. The Green and Gold picked up wins over Gallaudet and William Peace but couldn't pull off the sweep, falling to the host WildCats.

Highlights:
Relays:

• The HU quartet of Jada Deane, Jessica Lopez, Madeleine Freeman, and Brenn Rea finished runner-up in the 200 Medley Relay (2:21.24).
• The final event of the afternoon would see a 3^rd place finish for Abby Marmorstein, Kyra Campbell, Deane, and Rea with a time of 2:01.10 in the 200 Freestyle Relay.

Individual:

• Marmorstein added 2^nd place points in the 1650 Freestyle (22:58.86) and the 100 Backstroke (1:13.99). Deane was 3^rd in the 100 Back, :03.49 behind her teammate.
• Lopez finished 3^rd in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 6:53.61 and was 5^th in the 200 Free. Campbell touched 3^rd in the 100 Butterfly (1:25.68) and was 4^th in the 1650 Freestyle.
• Freeman finished 4^th in the 100 Backstroke with her final time of 1:36.58

 
Up Next: Hollins competes in the first of two home meets on November 1^st when they host Greensboro at 1:00pm. Prior to the meet, the Hollins seniors will be honored for their contributions and commitment to the university and swim program.
