The Lead: In the middle of a three match home stand, Hollins welcomed Trinity (Washington) to campus for a Monday afternoon match. Hollins controlled play throughout the afternoon and carried a 3-0 edge into the half. The Green and Gold took advantage of a short-handed Tiger squad and pulled away for an easy, 10-0, home win.

Highlights
  • Just over 15 minutes into the match, Izzy Workman scored her first of three goals when the senior took a pass from Evelin Lemus-Arriaga and got HU off and running.
  • Lemus-Arriaga made it 2-0 and when Raynia Russell found Lida Krodel, Hollins enjoyed a 3-0 lead that they carried into the halftime break.
  • The Tigers used nine, first half, saves to stay close heading into the second half.
  • Another Workman score made it 4-0 and when Russell sent a perfect pass from the right side to the back post to the waiting foot of KJ Donlan, HU pushed the lead to five.
  • Five more Hollins tallies would make the final 10-0 and give Hollins her first win of the season.
  • Workman (3), Lemus-Arriaga (2) joined Donlan, Krodel, Evelyn Keefer, Jazmin Fitzgerald, and Valtinique Simmons, giving Hollins seven different goal scorers.
  • Russell had three assists with Faith Falter adding two. T Shover, Brooklyn Howard, Hayley Ponn, Simmons, and Lemus-Arriaga recorded helpers on all 10 of Hollins scores.
  • Grace Glerum went the distance in goal to pick up her first win of the season.
