The Basics
Event: Finn Pincus Invitational (January 17-18, 2025)
Location: Salem, Va. (Roanoke College - Cregger Field House)

The Lead: Hollins traveled to Salem to compete at the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. In just their second meet of the young season, the Green and Gold would post several season, and personal best efforts including five different top-10 school marks during the two-day event.
 
Highlights & Notes   
Friday Events:

• Ashlyne Golston would post a final time of 9.04 in the 60m Dash.
• In the High Jump, Madison Freideman would finish at 1.50m, tied for the third best height in the history of the program.

Saturday Events:

• Arianna Gomez posted one of the top 20 times in the school's record books with a time of 29.69 in the 200m.
• The Long Jump would see Freideman equal the sixth best jump in Hollins history with a 4.64m effort.
• Sanaa Belton recorded one of her two season bests with a Weight Throw of 13.50m to finish 12^th in the event and post the second best effort of her career.
• Belton returned to finish 18^th in the Shot Put with a season best 10.13m and putting her at 4^th all-time in the event for HU.
• Hollins would place a trio of athletes in the top 20 in the Triple Jump. Gomez was seventh when she turned in a jump of 10.72m, the 55^th best jump in the NCAA this season and the 4^th best in school history. Freideman was 12^th at 9.65m while Jadyn Rhodes was 14^th at 8.25m.

Up Next: Hollins will travel to Lexington to compete at VMI next weekend, January 24-25.
