The Lead: Hollins faced Randolph-Macon in the first of two matches against the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) elite over the next 18 hours, Hollins hosts Virginia Wesleyan at 11:00am in the morning. The Green and Gold earned a pair of set points in the opener but couldn't put the Jackets away as RMC took the first frame, 29-27. As the night progressed, the depth of the visitors began to wear down Hollins and Macon took the ODAC match in three-sets.

Highlights 

• HU fell to Randolph-Macon 27-29, 14-25, 13-25.
• An RMC service error gave Hollins a 25-24 edge, however the Yellow Jackets scored to tie the opening set. Randolph-Macon staved off another set point and led 27-26 but a Sophia Maurer kill would knot the score once again. Back-to-back Jacket points would give the set to the visitors.
• Hollins would see their guests lead in kills, 44-18 and service aces, 11-5.
• Maurer led the net play with seven kills and three blocks. Alyssa Reed and Cassidy Henderson recorded four kills apiece with Anisia Dean handing out 16 assists.
• Dean served up three aces with Rachel Hull leading the back row with 15 digs.
