The Lead: For the second consecutive day the Hollins swim team was in action, this time with a quick trip to Salem to face Roanoke College at the Salem YMCA. The Green and Gold would use eight 3^rd place finishes to post 60 points against the Maroons.

Highlights  

• In one of two distance events, Macy Gibson earned 3^rd in the 1000 (14:24.61) just ahead of teammate Amanda Cash (14:30.35). In the 500 Freestyle, Arwyn Orr Paulk was 3^rd at 6:55.36, one spot ahead of Cash.
• Gibson returned in the 100 Butterfly for another set of third place points (1:20.11) just ahead of Nora Sorensen. Sorensen moved up a spot in the 200 Fly with a time of 3:17.31.
• In the 100 Backstroke, Jada Deane was 3^rd at 1:16.17 a spot clear of Samantha Ferrer.
• Mia Bollerer was 3^rd in the 50 Freestyle with Kyra Campbell finishing .58 of a second behind. Campbell (1:11.31) would add another 4^th place finish when she finished just behind Cash (1:11.20) in the 100 Freestyle.
• The final event of the afternoon, the 400 Freestyle Relay, Campbell, Sorensen, Cash, and Freeman were 3^rd in 4:42.99.
