Meet: 2026 ODAC Swim Championships

The Lead: The fourth and final day of the 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships took place at the Greensboro Aquatic Center on Saturday. The Green and Gold would compete in the 1659 Freestyle, 200 Backstroke, 100 Freestyle, 200 Breaststroke, 200 Butterfly, and the 400 Freestyle Relay to wrap up the championship meet.

Events:

·         100 Freestyle: Hollins sent six swimmers out in the 100 Freestyle. Brenna Rea paced the Hollins team with a time of 1:03.37. Abby Marmorstein (1:04.20) touched just ahead of teammate Madeleine Freeman (1:04.41) Kyra Campbell just missed making it three in a row with a time of 1:07.23. Addison Jones was next at 1:14.57 followed by Seydi Garay-Alfaro.

·         200 Breaststroke: Freeman finished the event with a final time of 3:14.82.

·         1650 Freestyle: Marmorstein finished one spot ahead of Jessica Lopez. The first-year duo posted times of 21:36.13 and 22:27.69 respectively.

·         400 Freestyle Relay: In the final event of the meet, Marmorstein, Lopez, Rea, and Freideman wrapped up the championships with an 8^th place effort in a final time of 4:19.13.

·         Hollins completed the Championships 8^th out of 10 teams. Their 110 points were just 20 points behind the 7th place finishers from Randolph and 55 points ahead of their rivals from Sweet Briar.
