The Lead: The Hollins soccer team hosted Bridgewater in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action. The Eagles came into the match behind HU in the ODAC standings, looking for their first win of the season. The young Bridgewater squad jumped on the home team early, netting a pair of scores in the opening five minutes of play. BC led at the break and went on to the 9-0, ODAC, win.

Highlights 

• The Eagles used 29 first half shots to help build an 8-0 lead at the half.
• In the second half, Hollins held their guests to one goal on four shots to make the final, 9-0.
• Evelyn Keefer and Adelie Condra each notched a shot on goal with Izzy Workman rounding out the shots taken by the Green and Gold.
• T Shover got the start in goal and registered nine saves before giving way to Zoe Baxter (one save) late in the second half.
