The Lead:Â Friday night would see the second of a four match road swing with a stop to face Randolph-Macon in Ashland. The Yellow Jackets used a 34-25 kill advantage and 15 service aces to control the action throughout and pick up the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win on their home court.

- Hollins fell to the Yellow Jackets 12-25, 16-25, 19-25.Â
- HU scored first and the opening set was tied at 5-5. However, the Yellow Jackets would take 13 of the next 14 points on their way to a 1-0 lead.
- The Green and Gold would lead once again, this time a 9-4 start. RMC battled back and led, 17-16, before closing the set on an 8-0 surge to push their lead to 2-0.
- The third set would see the home team carry their momentum from the previous set, charging out to a 9-3 advantage on their way to the straight sets win.
- Sophia Maurer had eight kills and Carrie Nelson added seven while Selena Wolfe and Faith Schaefer each recorded three kills. Jaelyn Werley assisted on 21 of the 25 kills. Zo Miranda led Hollins with 11 digs with Werley and Wolfe adding nine apiece.
Up Next:Â Hollins will stay on the road and make the trip to Virginia Beach for a pair of matches tomorrow, taking on Virginia Wesleyan before wrapping up their week with a visit to Regent.
