Location: Ashland, Va.
The Lead: The Green and Gold made the trip to Ashland to face Randolph-Macon in a dual meet on Friday night. It was part of a Hollins/RMC/Hampden-Sydney event that featured 10 events for the women. The deeper Yellow Jackets were able to out-point HU, 106-54.
Highlights  

• Jada Deane, Rachelle Kilgore, Nora Sorensen, and Madeleine Freeman got the meet started with a 3^rd place effort in the 200 Medley Relay.
• Katherine Komarek recorded a pair of runner-up finishes and a 3^rd. The senior posted a time of 29.13 in the 50 Freestyle while touching second in the 10 Freestyle (1:07.83) and 3^rd place points in the 200 Freestyle.
• In her first collegiate meet, Makhaila Johnson was 3^rd in the 50 Free with a time of 31.41 and earned 4^th place points in the 100 Freestyle.
• Freeman was 2^nd in the 400 Individual Medley (5:44.17) and 2^nd in the 100 Breaststroke in a final time of 1:23.39.
• Sorensen returned for a runner up finish in the 100 Butterfly (1:40.76) while Deane finished 2^nd in the 100 Backstroke (1:17.21).
• Amanda Cash brought home second place points with a time of 7:02.15 in the 500 Freestyle and 3^rd place points in the 100 Back.
• Mia Bollerer claimed points with a 3^rd in the 100 Freestyle and a 4^th in the 200 Free while Kilgore recorded a 3^rd in the 100 Breaststroke.
• The final event of the meet would see another 3^rd when the quartet of Kilgore, Johnson, Sorensen, and Cash posted a time of 2:13.03 in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
