The Lead:Â Appalachian Bible College would make the trip to Roanoke for the second time in the past six days to face Hollins on the court. The Green and Gold picked up a 3-1 win over the Warriors on Saturday and looked to sweep the two-match series with Appalachian Bible. It was Senior Night for a pair of Hollins players as
Zo Miranda and faith Schaefer were honored prior to the start of the match. Hollins miscues allowed the Warriors to take the opening set. Hollins gathered themselves and evened the match at 1-1 on the back of a 25-13 win. Hollins would win a closely contested third set before cruising in the finale for the 3-1 win.

- HU defeated ABC: 21-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-10.
- Hollins would see their guests use a 6-0 surge to take control of the opening frame as Appalachian Bible closed the set with a 25-21 victory.
- A 10-1 run in the beginning stages of the second set would allow Hollins to even the match at 1-1.
- In the third, a kill and Hollins error would get the Warriors to within 24-22, but a service error ended any hopes of a comeback and the Green and Gold enjoyed a 2-1 advantage.
- Hollins left no doubt in a fourth set that would see Hu hold a 13-5 kill edge on their way to a second win over Appalachian in the past week.
- Sophia Maurer had 13 kills, five service aces, and five digs to lead Hollins. Selena Wolfe added eight kills with Carrie Nelson recording seven while Schaefer had five kills, one solo, and three assisted blocks. Jaelyn Werley had 37 assists, giving the sophomore 77 against the Warriors this season. Miranda led the back row with 17 digs.
