The Lead: Hollins would make the trip to Danville to take on Averett in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play. The Cougars would score five, first half goals, and repeat that effort during the second 45 minutes of play to pick up the ODAC victory.
Highlights 

• Averett would strike first, netting the game's first score about eight and a half minutes into play. Celia de Diego would complete her personal hattrick in the first half as the Cougars led 5-0 at the break.
• Izzy Workman and Hayley Ponn each got looks but missed the target high to the left. Right before the half, Workman got free once again but could not find the back of the net.
• Averett controlled the action in the second half and despite five HU saves, the game would end with the home team on top, 10-0.
• Workman led the offense in shots attempted. In net, Cat Bussani recorded 14 saves before being relieved by Zoe Baxter for the final 17 minutes. Baxter recorded one save in reserve.

Up Next: Hollins closes out the regular season home portion of the schedule on Saturday when they play host to Randolph College at 2:00pm. Prior to the opening kick, Hollins will take a moment to honor her four seniors.
