The Lead:Â Randolph-Macon outscored Hollins by 12 in the second quarter to help build a big lead then held off a late rally by HU to take a 54-47 ODAC win on Senior night Thursday.

Highlights:
- Senior Kayla Surles had a game-high 22 points, while Tia Tucker had 12. Fellow senior Keenan Surles had eight points for HU as well.
- R-MC jumped out a to a 13-2 lead on a Haley Pasqualone three-pointer with just under four minutes to play in the first quarter.
- HU rallied with an 8-2 run to close the quarter to make it a 15-10 after the first 10 minutes of play.
- R-MC scored the first 11 points of the second quarter then a three-pointer by Pasqualone as time expired made it a 29-12 game at halftime.
- The Yellow Jackets lead grew to as many as 16 in the final seconds of the third quarter.
- Hollins slowly chipped away and made it a nine point game with five minutes to go when a Surles bucket made the score 48-39.
- A basket by R-MC on its next possession pushed its lead back to 11 points before four straight points from Surles and bucket by Tucker cut the R-MC lead to five with under a minute to go.
- That would be as close as Hollins would get as R-MC made four free-throws down the stretch to seal the win. Â
- Catherine Keagy led R-MC with 12 points and Cheridan Hatfield added 11.
