The Lead:Â Hollins dropped an ODAC Conference game to Lynchburg 83-53 on Wednesday.

Highlights:
- The first quarter was tight with a Keenan Surles three-pointer giving HU an 8-6 lead with 2:16 to play.Â
- Back-to-back baskets by Erin Green staked Lynchburg to an 11-8 advantage after the first 10 minutes.
- A pair of Kayla Surles free-throws with five minutes to go in the half tied the game at 21-21.
- A McKenzie Brundage three-pointer gave Lynchburg a 24-21 lead with three minutes to go and sparked what proved to be a 10-1 run to end the half for the Hornets. Â
- Lynchburg used a 9-of-15 shooting performance from the floor and made 14-of-15 attempts from the foul line in the third quarter to pull away and lead 65-32 heading into the fourth quarter.
- Xavia Hahn had a career-high 17 points for Hollins. Surles had 14 points and tied Tia Tucker for the team-lead with five rebounds.
- Oliva Harris had a game-high 20 points to lead Lynchburg which made 32-of-37 shots from the foul line in the win.
