The Lead: For the final time this season, the Hollins volleyball team defended her home court when Ferrum came to town for a matchup that would be for positioning in the ODAC standings. The Panthers raced out to an early lead before a Hollins rally made it close late. However, Ferrum took the first set and seized momentum for the rest of the match. At night's end, Hollins had fallen to their foe from Ferrum, 3-0.

Highlights 

• HU fell to Ferrum 25-21, 25-17, 25-14 
• 29 attack errors by HU had the home team playing catchup for most of the evening. That coupled with 13 Panther aces and 12 blocks helped Ferrum to the win.
• Kenna Esquibel and Ellie Lynch each registered six kills with Faith Schaefer adding five. Schaefer accounted for three blocks while the trio combined for all six of Hollins service aces.
• Senior setter Zoe Brooks handed out 18 assists and Zoe Miranda once again led the back row with eight digs.

Up Next: The Green and Gold will finish the regular season with a trip to Maryland to face Trinity (DC) and Hood in a tri-match on Saturday afternoon.
