The Lead: Hollins made the trip to North Carolina to face Guilford College on Tuesday night. Both teams came into the match looking for their first Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win of season. The home team wold use a hitting edge and take advantage of miscues to pick up the 3-0 win over the Green and Gold.

Highlights 

• HU fell to the Quakers by a score of 25-11, 25-12, 25-21 
• Hollins would record 22 kills but 22 attack errors would open the door for Guilford. The Quakers would out-hit Hollins 31-22 and serve up 12 aces in the conference win.
• Faith Schaefer led Hollins with eight kills while Kenna Esquibel and Ellie Lynch added five apiece. Esquibel, Lynch, and Leslie Lu Walker each recorded an ace with Schaefer picking up a pair of blocks..
• Zoe Brooks handed out 11 assists with Jaelyn Werley helping on nine kills. Zoe Miranda registered nine digs and Esquibel added seven.
