The Lead: Hood hit a season-best .309 as a team as it topped Hollins 3-0 Friday night in non-conference volleyball action.

Highlights

• Tyler Sesker led Hollins with nine kills as she hit at a .280 clip on the evening. Selena Wolfe and Kenna Esquibel each had three kills for the Green and Gold. Zoe Brooks dished out 11 assists.
• Defensively, both Esquibel and Bella Brown finished with nine digs.
• For Hood, MacKenzi Wright and Carrington Ray combined for just one error in 32 attacks. Wright had six kills in 14 attempts (.429), while Ray had eight kills in 18 swings (.389).
