Orlando, FL - The Hollins University tennis team started their four match, spring break trip to Orlando with a late evening match against Union College. Hollins won at #2 doubles but fell behind 2-1 heading into singles competition.
Jhovanna Salmeron (Zebulon, NC) and Htet Myat San (Mandalay, Myanmar) teamed together for the first time this season and picked up a hard fought, 8-6, win at #2 doubles.
On the heels of the 1-8 loss to Union, Hollins fell to 2-3 on the season. Hollins will be back in action tomorrow when they take on Carthage at 9:00am.
