The Lead: For the final time this season, the Hollins tennis team looked to defend her home courts at the Batten Tennis Center. Guilford would be the final opponent this season to make the trip to Roanoke to face the Green and Gold. Hollins and the Quakers would battle at the doubles spots with the visitors claiming the first point of the match. With each school only filling five of the six singles positions, it would be the visitors from Greensboro that would claim the Old Dominion Athletic Conference win, 6-0.

Highlights:

• Rachel Hull and Anna Starman fell at the top spot 6-1 while the duo of Sasha Mingo and Sadie Henshaw played their best match of the season in only their second time being paired together at #2 doubles.
• Starman claimed games in each of her two sets at #3 singles before eventually falling 6-1 and 6-1. Hull recorded a 6-1 and 6-0 score at the top singles spot.
• At #5 and #6 singles, Jade Thompson and Henshaw would each lead in their matchup in the opening stages. Each would post 6-2 and 6-0 results, Thompson at #4 and Henshaw in the #5 position.

Up Next: Hollins is scheduled to put a bow on the 2025-26 season next Saturday. Hollins travels across town to face Roanoke College on the Elizabeth Campus courts with a scheduled start time of 10:30am.
