Emma Branche of the riding team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Over the weekend, Hollins competed in a pair of Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) events and finish as the Reserve High Point team in each show. Branche was 1st Intermediate Fences and 2nd Limit Flat on Saturday and returned on Sunday to finish 2nd Intermediate Fences and 1st Limit Flat. On Sunday in Lynchburg, the senior would finish runner-up overall and be named Reserve High Point Rider.
