Rebekah Funderburk of the basketball team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. This past week, the Hollins hoops team played three road games. After a near miss at Ferrum, Hollins traveled to Bridgewater before finishing the weekend with a win over Trinity, 82-59. Funderburk notched a pair of double-doubles in the trio of matchups. Against Ferrum, the junior post player had 13 points and 10 rebounds and capped the week with 17 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocked shots against the Tigers. Rebekah averaged 12 points and nine rebounds for the week and is currently 2nd on the team with 119 rebounds and 30 blocked shots.
