Sarah Morales of the basketball team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Hollins picked up two Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) wins over the past week. In a home win over Eastern Mennonite, Morales set a then career high 22 points in a 61-54 win over the Royals. Three days later, the sophomore eclipsed that mark by scoring 27 points in a 69-58 win at Virginia Wesleyan. For the week, Morales scored 49 points with 13 rebounds, five assists, a blocked shot and eight steals. With the two wins, Hollins has moved into seventh in the current ODAC standings.
