Chelsea was named the assistant soccer coach at Hollins in August, 2019. 

Originally from Rockingham, NC, Wingate was a four year goalkeeper for the Ferrum College soccer team. She graduated from Ferrum in 2016 with with a degree in recreational leadership. After graduation, Wingate was a program director for a camp and conference center while coaching high school soccer.
