The Lead: One last time prior to taking some time to enjoy Spring Break, the Hollins tennis team was in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action. After having a match at Shenandoah earlier in the week postponed due to extreme temperatures, Hollins hoisted Sweet Briar on Thursday afternoon. The Green and Gold went into the match short-handed and fell behind 1-0 after the doubles matches. In singles, the lineup had to be shuffled, and Hollins couldn't find any sort of momentum, falling to the Vixens, 7-0.

Highlights:

• The doubles team of Rachel Hull and Jade Thompson played the longest of the matches during the partners stage before eventually falling at the top spot.
• Playing up a spot at #4 singles, Thompson fell to her opponent 6-0 and 6-1.
• The final match of the afternoon ended when Anna Starman fell at #3 singles, the first time the senior played at that spot this season.

Up Next: Hollins returns from break and plays the fist of back-to-back road matches on Friday, April 3^rd when they make the rescheduled trip to Winchester to face Shenandoah.
