Hollins Played the First of Back-to-Back ODAC Matches

The Lead: The Hollins tennis scheduled featured back-to-back Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) road matches, starting with a trip to Winchester to face Shenandoah on Friday afternoon. The Green and Gold would head into the weekend shorthanded, and the Hornets wasted little time in taking advantage of the HU depleted roster. After winning the doubles point, Shenandoah would win the top four singles spots, in picking up the ODAC victory, 7-0.

Highlights:
  • The doubles team of Rachel Hull and Sasha Mingo got on the scoreboard before falling 6-1.
  • Mingo, playing up a spot from her normal number three slot, fell at #2 singles by the score of 6-1 and 6-1.
Up Next: Hollins will get one of her players back for tomorrow's match against ODAC leading, and #12 nationally, Washington and Lee. The match against the Generals is scheduled to start at noon in Lexington.
