The Lead: As the calendar changes to March and the spring weather seems to be finally arriving in Roanoke, the Hollins tennis team welcomed Randolph-Macon to the Batten Tennis Center for an early Sunday morning match. The Yellow Jackets made the long trip and showed no ill effects from their travels, taking the doubles matches for a 1-0 lead. Hollins fought hard in singles competition, but in the end the Yellow Jackets consistency was too much to overcome as RMC took the match, 7-0.

Highlights:

• The #2 doubles team of Sasha Mingo and Anna Starman went to deuce several times during the match, eventually falling 6-1.
• At #2 singles, Zilina Robinson-Knox was defeated 6-1 and 6-0.
• Starman returned in singles play to post a 6-0 and 6-1 score at the #4 spot..

Up Next: HU steps out of conference in two weeks when they travel to Winston-=Salem (N.C.) for two matches. The Green and Gold have a rematch with Johnson and Wales at 10:30 before doing battle with Salem College at 1:00pm.
