The Lead: The Hollins tennis team returned to conference play on a windy Wednesday afternoon when they hosted Randolph College. The WildCats swept the #2 and #3 doubles and eventually made it a 3-0 start with a win at the top spot. The visitors from Lynchburg would carry that momentum into singles competition and bested the Green and Gold 7-0 to take the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match..

Highlights:

• The #1 doubles team of Rachel Hull and Zilina Robinson-Knox battled deep into the match before falling to their opponents, 6-2.
• Anna Starman faced long rallies all afternoon and took her rival deep into every game, falling 6-1 and 6-1.
• Sasha Mingo (#3) and Sadie Henshaw (#6) fell by identical scores of 6-1 and 6-0.

Up Next: Hollins will play Randolph-Macon in a rare early Sunday morning match when they host the Yellow Jackets at 10am on the courts of the Batten Tennis Center on March 1^st.
