The Lead: The Hollins tennis team opened the spring portion of the 2025-26 season with a trip to Lynchburg. Hollins and the Hornets would kick off the spring on the indoor courts at the Crosswhite Athletic Club. Three of the six Hollins players would be competing in their first collegiate match. Lynchburg would win the doubles round and take a 1-0 advantage. Hollins would see more success in the singles matches but in the end, it would be the Hornets that picked up the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win, 7-0.
 
Highlights:

• The #2 doubles pairing of Sasha Mingo and Anna Starman would start the afternoon down 3-1 before eventually falling 6-1.
• Starman, playing her first collegiate tennis match, took the court in the #4 singles position and pickup up a couple game wins, 6-1 and 6-1.
• Rachel Hull played at the top spot and faced 2025 All-ODAC Isabora Lima, falling 6-0 and 6-1.
