The Lead: The Hollins soccer team made the trip to Lynchburg to face Randolph College on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The WildCats greeted the Green and Gold with a pair of scores in the first two minutes of play. Hollins gained her legs and kept the home team off the board for much of the remainder of the first frame and trailed 3-0 at the break. The short-handed Hollins squad began to wilt as the rain continued to fall throughout the afternoon as Randolph picked up the Old Dominion Athletic Conference win, 10-0.

• On back-to-back possessions, Evelin Lemus-Arriaga sent shots on goal but each time the WildCat keeper was able to keep Hollins off the score board.
• Hollins got another good chance at the 17-minute mark when Isabella Byron sent a shot into the bottom left corner of the goal but once again the shot was kept out of the net.
• Randolph took advantage of their solid defense and added a third goal to make the score 3-0 heading into the break.
• As the conditions continued to worsen, Hollins could not crack through the Randolph back line and the home team picked up the ODAC win, 10-0.
• Evelyn Keefer attempted three shots with Lemus-Arriaga and Byron taking two shots apiece. In goal, senior Zoe Baxter made 12 saves, her third consecutive double-digit save effort.
