The Lead: The Hollins swim team welcomed back alums on Saturday for a dual meet with Sweet Briar. Prior to taking on the Vixens, Hollins would celebrate two of the newest members of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Hall of Fame. All American and National Champion swimmer Kat Horton and long time Hollins swim coach and Director of Athletics Lynda Calkins were honored in a ceremony in front of over 100 former and current Hollins student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and the ODAC Commissioner. After the festivities, the swim team didn't disappoint the large crowd with a 118-48 win over their arch rivals. With the win, Hollins ran her 2025-26 dual meet record to 6-2.

Individual:
- Lopez won a pair of individual events: finishing the 1000 Free with a time of 14:21.81 before returning later in the meet to take the 100 Breaststroke (1:30.68).
- The 100 Freestyle would see Brenna Rea finish 1st with a time of 1:10.89 with Jones touching 3rd in 1:20.30. Rea won her second event when the sophomore posted a time of 30:33 in the 50 Freestyle. Seydi Garay-Alfaro was 5th in the 100 and 7th in the 50 Freestyle.
- Deane won the 100 Butterfly (1:17.08) and the 100 Backstroke (1:23.40) while Freeman was 1st in the 200 Freestyle (2:25.41).
- Marmorstein finished ahead of the field in the 200 Individual Medley (IM) ahead of teammate Campbell who returned later that afternoon to claim the 500 Freestyle in a time of 7:07.86.

Up Next:Â Hollins will take some time off for exams and the winter break before returning to the pool in January.
