The Lead: For the final time this regular season, the Hollins swim team went on the road to North Carolina to compete in a tri-meet with Greensboro and Guilford. The Green and Gold defeated the Quakers 176-35 while completing the sweep by besting the Pride 125-88. With the two wins, Hollins finishes the regular season with a 7-4 overall record in dual-meet competition.

Highlights  

• Overall, Hollins would win five events with eight runner-up, and six, third-place efforts in winning both matchups.
• HU was 2^nd in both Relay events. In the 200 Medley Relay, Kyra Campbell, Rachelle Kilgore, Macy Gibson, and Brenna Rea posted a time of 2:17.99. The final event of the meet, the 200 Freestyle Relay, Hollins was once again runner up with the quartet of Arwyn Orr Paulk, Mia Bollerer, Amanda Cash, and Madeleine Freeman (2:07.34).
• Hollins would see a 1-2-3 finish in the 100 Butterfly when Gibson (1:20.96), Nora Sorensen (1:28.49), and Samantha Ferrer (1:45.17) touched back-to-back-to-back.
• Orr Paulk won a pair of individual events. In the 1000, the first year won in 14:10.81 before returning later to win the 100 Breaststroke (1:32.10) out-touching Kilgore by 1.39 of a second.
• Freeman was 1^st in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:24.88, ahead of Cash at 2:35.59 in 3^rd. Freeman was also runner-up in the 200 Individual Medley (IM) in 2:52.79 while Campbell was 3^rd (2:54.62) and 2^nd in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 3:29.16.
• Cash added a 2^nd in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:11.16, just over a second ahead of Bollerer. Campbell added her individual runner-up finish with a time of 1:18.88 in the 100 Backstroke.
• Rea earned 1^st place points when she touched at 30.60 in the 50 Freestyle with Campbell finishing 3^rd (31.82).
• Ferrer was 2^nd in the 200 Backstroke (3:29.16) while Gibson (3:13.94) touched second ahead of Sorensen (3:18.08) in the 200 Butterfly.

Up Next: Hollins competes at the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Swim Championships in February. The four-day conference meet will take place February 12-15 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in North Carolina.
