The Lead: For the second time this week, Hollins looked to defend her home court when Mary Baldwin came to campus on Thursday night. Hollins would see a two-point lead disappear when the Squirrels went on a 5-0 run and took the opening set. The Green and Gold would rally behind 17 service aces to take the next three sets for the come-from-behind 3-1 non-conference victory.

- After falling in the opening set, 25-23, Hollins rallied, using a big edge in serving and finishing the night with a 41-30 edge at the net.
- Hollins used five different runs of 5-0 or more to take control and pull away for their first home win of the season.
- Selena Wolfe led the HU attack with 12 kills while Alyssa Reed added 10 and Cassidy Henderson finishing with nine. Rachel Hull led the charge by recording five of Hollins 17 service aces. Henderson, Reed, and Peyton Bartholow each serving three winners.
- Hull assisted on 31 of the team's 41 kills. Reed and Wolfe each recorded 16 digs and Aliyah Lightsey assisted on all five of HU's blocks.
Up Next: Hollins goes back on the road this Saturday, September 14, when they make the trip to Bridgewater. HU plays the Eagles at 11am before a matchup with Southern Virginia at 1pm.
