The Basics 
Event: EMU Heritage XC Invitational
Location: Harrisonburg, Va.

The Lead: The 2024 cross country season got started with a trip to Old Dominion Athletic Conference rival Eastern Mennonite for the EMU Heritage XC Invitational. Hollins would send a trio of runners to compete in the field of 39 student-athletes representing five different schools. All three HU runners would finish back-to-back-to-back, all earning a spot in the top 30.
Highlights & Notes  

• Sylvia Guillet led the Green and Gold with a time of 26:24.0 to finish in 28^th.
• Dawn Forrest (26:48.1) finished just ahead of senior Harper Dillon (27:11.7).
