The Lead: After sweeping a pair of meets at Sweet Briar, Hollins traveled east once again to Lynchburg to face Randolph and Bridgewater in a tri-meet. The host WildCats got the best of the Green and Gold (169.5-80.5) and HU fell to the Eagles 195-59.

Highlights  

• Madeleine Freeman was 4^th in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:22.05 and returned later in the meet to finish 5^th in the 100 Breaststroke (1:28.41). Freeman added another set of 4^th place points when she touched the wall in the 200 Individual Medley (IM) with a time of 2:49.63.  
• In the 50 Backstroke, Jada Deane was 4^th in 35.79 and repeated her finish in the 100 Back in a time of 1:17.58. Deane was just behind Freeman with a 5^th in the 200 IM.
• In the distance events, Amanda Cash was 5^th in the 500 Freestyle (6:56.11) and in the 1000 Free with a time of 14:01.95. Arwyn Orr Paulk would finish right behind Cash in each of the distance races (6:57.32 and 14:15.32).
• Rachelle Kilgore was 4^th in the 50 Breaststroke (37.57) and 6^th in the 100 Breast.
• The 50 Freestyle would see Kyra Campbell (31.12) finish 5^th, just .40 of a second ahead of Nora Sorensen.
• In the relay races, Hollins would come home 5^th in both the 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle.
