The Lead: The Hollins soccer team was back on Berkley Field on Saturday when Johnson and Wales came to Roanoke for a noon opening kick. The Wildcats would strike first and carry the lead into the break. Hollins played the Wildcats even in the second frame but couldn't get anything going on the offensive end, falling to JWU 7-0.
Highlights 
  • Less than 10 minutes into the match, T Shover made a diving stop, but the Wildcats would score off the rebound for the lead.
  • Taylor Witherspoon paced JWU with a trio of first half goals on their way to a 6-0, halftime, advantage.
  • Hollins saw a 24-1 difference in shots on goal.
  • Shover recorded 11 saves in goal before being relieved by Zoe Baxter. Baxter made six stops while Anna Starman and Izzy Workman provided Hollins with a pair of shots.
